Privacy Policy

1. Overview

OceanSky is a decentralized application ("dApp") that lets people mint, buy, and sell NFTs and swap tokens directly from a self-custodial wallet. We built OceanSky to run with as little data collection as possible: we don't operate user accounts, and we never ask for your name, email, or any other personal identifier to use the marketplace or the swap.

This policy explains the limited information we do handle — locally on your device and via public blockchains — and how it's used.

2. Information We Don't Collect

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, government IDs, or any other traditional personal identifiers. Connecting a wallet does not require registration, and we never ask you to prove your real-world identity to browse, list, mint, or swap on OceanSky.

3. Wallet & On-Chain Activity

Your wallet address is the only identifier OceanSky uses to show your NFTs, listings, and swap history. Once you connect a wallet, we read public on-chain data to display your holdings and activity back to you.

Every mint, listing, sale, bid, bridge, and swap you make is broadcast to and permanently recorded on the relevant public blockchain — including Base and Robinhood Chain for NFT activity, and any chain supported by the swap for token trades. This data is public by design, visible to anyone, and outside OceanSky's control: we cannot edit, hide, or delete transactions once they're confirmed on-chain.

4. Local Storage & Cookies

OceanSky uses local browser storage and cookies to remember preferences on your device, such as your connected wallet, your preferred network, your theme (light/dark), and your cookie choices. These are strictly necessary for the app to function the way you left it and are never sold or shared with advertisers.

With your consent, we also use optional analytics cookies to understand which pages are slow or broken, and optional marketing cookies to see which campaigns bring collectors to drops. You can accept, reject, or customize these at any time through the cookie banner or the preferences link in the footer. Rejecting analytics and marketing cookies does not affect your ability to mint, list, buy, or swap.

5. Third-Party Services

To function, OceanSky connects to third-party infrastructure we don't operate, including wallet providers (e.g., MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet), RPC/node providers, and smart contracts deployed on Base, Robinhood Chain, and other supported networks. These third parties have their own privacy practices, and transaction data you broadcast through them is governed by their policies, not this one. We encourage you to review the privacy terms of your wallet provider and any RPC endpoint you use.

6. Data Security

Because OceanSky never takes custody of your funds or private keys, the security of your assets depends primarily on how you safeguard your wallet, seed phrase, and device. We use standard technical safeguards for the infrastructure we do operate (such as our front end and caching layers), but we cannot secure funds held in a wallet we don't control.

7. Children's Privacy

OceanSky is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as OceanSky adds features or supports new chains. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of OceanSky after a change means you accept the revised policy.
